The Safe Homes Network was
designed to assist parents
disturbed by the fact that other
parents are allowing children to
consume alcoholic beverages
in their homes although the law
prohibits them to do so.

Parents who enroll in the "Safe
Homes Network", share the
common philosophy that if there
is a party in their home, it will be
chaperoned and that no alcohol
or drugs will be served.  All
participating homes will be
classified as a "Safe Home" and
will be published on this website.

We encourage parents to
discuss these issues with the
person hosting the house party
to agree upon an acceptable
environment.

SAFE HOMES ENROLLMENT FORM

A Foundation for Building a Community of Trust

The social scene today is very different from when we were teens.  Because it is illegal to allow alcohol
to be served to children under 21, the need for establishing a network of safe homes in our community
is essential.

A  “Safe Home” is one where the parents have pledged:
•        To supervise all parties “hosted” at their home.
•        To never allow alcohol to be served to anyone under 21 in their home.
•        To call the parent of a child who appears to be “under the influence.”
•        To never allow drugs to be consumed at their home.
•        If they were aware of any child possessing, using or distributing drugs in their home,
  they would call that child’s parent.
•        To make sure any firearms in the home are secure.

By joining together, we can insure the safety of our children and the community as a whole.
