Volunteers Needed Every  November!!!
Every year we join the Seaford American Legion to put up Flags to honor our veterans.

 

Presentation & Posting of Flags - usually the first Sunday of the month

Retrieval & Retirement - The last Sunday of the month

​

Thank you for Joining us last year.   
We will post the dates on our Social Media for November 2026 as soon as we have them.
Donations are gladly accepted and  go to the Seaford American Legion Post 1132 for veteran projects. After the event, all flags will be stored and made available for future Field of Honor displays.

honor of Veterans Day 2020, the Seaford American Legion sponsored the annual Field of Honor.  This beautiful field of 250 American Flags recognize and show honor to the courageous veterans who have dedicated their lives to protecting our freedom. 

 

The Field of Honor flag consists of a 3 x 5 ft. flag mounted on an 8 foot pole and placed in precision rows on the lawn surrounding the

World War I Memorial at the Seaford LIRR Station along Sunrise Highway. 

The 2020 Presentation & Posting: was Sunday, November 1, 2020 at 9:00amand the Retrieval & Retirement:
