Volunteers Needed in November!!!
Every year we join the Seaford American Legion to put up Flags to honor our veterans.

 

Presentation & Posting of Flags - usually the first Sunday of the month

Retrieval & Retirement - The last Sunday of the month

​

Please join us in November 2024.    We will post the dates on our Social Media.
We look forward to seeing you.
Donations are gladly accepted and  go to the Seaford American Legion Post 1132 for veteran projects.

 

After the event, all flags will be stored and made available for future Field of Honor displays.

The Seaford American Legion and Seaford Wellness Council posted over 150 American flags in honor of America’s Veterans.

In honor of Veterans Day 2020, the Seaford American Legion sponsored the annual Field of Honor.  This beautiful field of 250 American Flags recognize and show honor to the courageous veterans who have dedicated their lives to protecting our freedom. 

 

The Field of Honor flag consists of a 3 x 5 ft. flag mounted on an 8 foot pole and placed in precision rows on the lawn surrounding the

World War I Memorial at the Seaford LIRR Station along Sunrise Highway.
