Seaford Wellness Council Therapy Dog Program
 

We are proud to sponsor a Therapy Dog Program at both Seaford High School and Seaford Middle School.

 

Thanks to our grant support, Lucie Lou, a sweet and gentle 5-year-old cockapoo, visits the schools  with her certified handler Luwana Hart from Therapy Dogs of Long Island.

We launched this initiative to promote emotional wellness, empathy, and connection for students and staff alike. Each visit, students sign up for 10-minute sessions during lunch. These quiet moments offer stress relief, foster social-emotional growth, and brighten the school day.
